天环一号偶极场磁约束实验装置悬浮线圈的初步设计及分析

Abstract:

Based on the overall design parameters of the dipole field magnetic confinement experimental device, China Astro-Torus No.1 (CAT-1), the structure and parameters of both Nb3Sn low temperature superconducting suspended dipole field coil and REBCO high temperature one are designed respectively. The finite element analysis results show that the design parameters of the suspension coil, such as the large radius 0.5m, the small radius 0.25m and the current carrying capacity of 5.0MA and 6.5MA respectively, are feasible in structure and engineering. These parameters can provide the maximum background magnetic field strength of 12.7T and 14.8T, which can meet the requirements of CAT-1 experiments.

摘要:

基于天环一号(CAT-1)装置的总体要求,对Nb3Sn低温超导及REBCO高温超导悬浮偶极场线圈结构和参数进行了初步设计。采用有限元分析软件的计算结果表明,悬浮线圈所选取的大半径0.5m、小半径0.25m,其载流分别为5.0MA和6.5MA等设计参数,在结构和工程上是可行的。该参数可提供12.7T和14.8T的最大背景磁场强度,能满足装置物理实验要求。
