Abstract:

Aiming at the requirements of large current and fast response for the fast control power supply for EAST, the second generation supply could apply voltage control mode to achieve the maximum of current rising rate, while active feedback power of plasma’s vertical displacement retained current control mode, which was used in the first generation of fast control power supply for EAST. To solve the problem of overvoltage protection caused directly by the reverse energy produced by the frequent overcurrent protection when the power supply outputs high voltage, current limiting protection was applied. Experimental results prove that voltage mode can greatly improve the ability of power supply to restrain plasma's vertical unstable displacement.

摘要:

针对EAST快控电源大电流快速响应的要求,EAST第二代等离子体垂直位移主动反馈电源在保留第一代主动反馈电源电流控制模式的同时,也可实施电压控制模式,实现电流上升率的最大化。为解决其带来的高电压输出时频繁过流保护而导致能量倒灌引发直流侧过压保护的现象,采用限流保护进行改进。经实验验证,电压模式可大幅提升电源对于等离子体垂直不稳定位移的抑制能力。
