摘要:

设计了一个测量高强度DT聚变脉冲中子产额的活化探测器。该探测器由中子慢化体、天然银片、塑料闪烁体和光电倍增管组成,其输出电流通过一个小电流计来获取。通过分析探测器在直流标定和脉冲测量两种状态下输出电流的变化曲线,求解出了特征参数,进而推导计算出DT聚变脉冲中子源的产额。实践证明,这种测量方法与传统的活化法相比,减少了对活化片截面数据准确性的依赖,具有简单、方便、近似在线测量等优点。

Abstract:

In order to measure the neutron yield of DT pulse neutron source, a silver-activated detector was designed. The detector consists of neutron moderator (slowing-down materials), natural silver foils, plastic scintillators and a photomultiplier tube (PMT). The output current of the detector was recorded by a micro-current-meter. By comparing and analyzing the differences between the output current curves of the detector which were measured under the constant radiation source and that of the pulse neutron source, characterized parameters were deduced. So the yield of DT pulse neutron source could be calculated. It is proved that this new method reduces the dependence of the cross section data, and it is very simple and convenient for on-line measurement.
